Centuries people have been trying to improve the quality and appearance of their
skin as they progressively age. Over time the external elements that surround us
have a way of eroding and degrading that very quality and appearance.
The sun is one of the strongest factors working externally on our skin as is the
wind and the very atmosphere that surrounds us. Certainly people have been advised
of the dangers of the elements and what they can do to avoid overexposure.
Causes of flaky dehydrated skin:
Many people think that the skin gets dry because it lacks oil but it is also due
to lack of water. It is caused by little sebum in the lower levels moisture in the
upper levels.
It has been known that every person has natural oil coating on the skin and it is
produced by the oil glands.
Hence, the skin is made up of several layers of cells and thousands of oil glands.
The main function of oil is that it prevents the skin form losing soft. Hence, when
the skin is washed, the oil is stripped away which shows a drying effect and thus
leading to cracking and inflammation.

stay away from sugar and other junk foods.
- Avoid alcohol and caffeinated beverages( a fact hard to digest!) Alcohol and caffeinated
beverages are exceptionally damaging to a body’s overall effort to remain adequately
hydrated. However, everyday people consume these substances, ignorant of the damage
and backpedaling it does to the body.

long lasting and healthy appearing skin.
