Nameetha Interview

Nameetha is no ordinay person in Tamil film industry. She has always been known for her sensational acting and glamour among Tamil cinema buffs. Nameetha, being a North Indian, is no exception to Tamil cine industry where many actress are choosen from the north.The young actress has been topping the list ever since the latest release of ‘Azhagiya Tamil Makan’ with Vijay and the great blockbuster ‘Billa’ with Ajith.

Here is Ms. Nameetha to share with us her passion, dreams and values.

  1. What is your real name and pet name?

Nameetha Mukesh Vanga Vala is my real name and everyone calls me Pity.

  1. What is your educational qualification?

I am a B.A. Graduate in English Literature

  1. Which is your First introduction film?

My first film is a Guajarati film. Name of the Hero is Bharath, but I don’t remember the film name.

  1. When did you first get your salary & what was the amount?

I am a good dancer, as a dance teacher I earned my first salary of Rs. 800/- for teaching dance to a small school going girl.

  1. How was your entry into Tamil Film Industry?

After hearing ‘Engal Anna’ story I said OK.

  1. What are the languages you know?

I Know Gujarati, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Punjabi, English and a little bit of Malayalam.

  1. Which is the movie you have watched most?

‘Titanic’ in English and my latest hit ‘Billa’ in Tamil

  1. If you have not entered the film industry, what would you have been?

I would have been a dance master. But not in Film industry

  1. Which is the place you like the most in India?

Humbivel in Mumbai. This is a mini paradise, artificial beach, swimming pool, etc. It’s a very neat area.

  1.  Which is the place that you like most in Tamil Nadu?

There is many places but I would say Kodaikanal and Coimbatore.

  1.  What are your bad habits and good habits?

I am a short tempered person and the good habit is I am out- spoken

  1.  How is that you speak good Tamil?

I watch Tamil serials and that helped me in speaking tamil. I am a Tamil actress too.

  1.  Who is your Role model?

My Mother in my real life & Mr.Kamalhasan in cinema

  1.  Do you cry?

Definitely, when I think of my brother Prince who passed away.

  1.  What is the secret of your beauty?

Thinking positive, helps to keep me young and beautiful

  1.  Few words about Simbhu

He is a Good friend, talented person. I am acting in the film called ‘Kettavan’ with him.

  1.  Your Fantasy in life?

Will they build a temple for me like they did for Kushboo?

Positive thinking and facing anything with strong heart

Having acted in ‘Azhagiya Tamil Makan’ with Vijay and ‘Billa’ with Ajith

Sachin Tendulkar, he is my favourite.
